Few other companies give you an hour timeslot, so thats a massive plus for DPD. Just because that timeslot doesn't suit you doesn't make them a terrible company. You left your turnaround time pretty short to send to your friend. That is your fault, not DPD. you also do not know who caused the delay in what I assume was next day post.

I had a parcel from a company that you could go online and check the estimated time the night before, then track the driver as he went on his route (accompanied by information such as 'he is on drop number 63, you are drop number 66').
